WHAT’S USUALLY TESTED

The standard GCC medical

  • Physical examination — blood pressure, height & weight, vision, hearing
  • Blood tests — HIV, hepatitis B & C, syphilis, plus blood count, sugar and liver/kidney function as required
  • Chest X-ray — tuberculosis and chest screening
  • Urine test
  • Stool test — for some job categories such as food handlers
  • Pregnancy test — for female applicants

The exact panel depends on the destination country and your job category.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Medical questions

Is Simba the official medical authority?

No. GCC medicals are run through Wafid, a programme of the Gulf Health Council, and carried out only at approved medical centres. Simba International is a licensed recruitment agency that books your appointment through the official Wafid system and guides you through it.

How much is the booking fee and how do I pay?

Our appointment booking fee is a fixed Rs 4,000. After you submit the form, we email you our bank account details. Transfer the fee, then send the receipt with your reference number on WhatsApp. The medical exam itself is paid separately at the medical centre on the day of your visit.

How long do results take?

Usually a few working days after your visit. Your result is uploaded to Wafid, where you — and the embassy — can check it using your passport number.

What if my result is “Unfit” or stays “Pending”?

Medical decisions are made by the centre under Gulf Health Council rules, not by agents. If your result is pending or unfit, contact us — we will explain what the status means and the next steps for your case.

When will I get my appointment?

We book as soon as your payment is confirmed, subject to slot availability at centres in your city. Your Wafid appointment slip is sent to you on WhatsApp and email.
